Unspeakable is an upcoming anthology featuring queer Gothic short stories. We are looking for tales that blur boundaries, for uncanny twists and characters that creep under our skin. It aims to showcase the best contemporary Gothic queer short fiction – because even dark tales deserve their time in the sun.

Gothic texts are, overtly but ambiguously, not rational, depicting disturbances of sanity and security, from superstitious belief in ghosts and demons, displays of uncontrolled passion, violent emotion or flights of fancy to portrayals of perversion and obsession.
